Marc Faivre grew up in his parents’restaurant, by Lac de Saint Point, an area which he fell in love with. He learns his job with professional chefs such as Henri Seguin in Paris, Jacques Lameloise in Chagny, Pierre Gagnaire in Saint Etienne and Georges Blanc in Vonnas.
In 1989 he came back to Malbuisson to take over the family’s business with help of his wife, Catherine, who was trained by Pierre Orsi in Lyon and Georges Blanc in Vonnas. Cahterine and Marc share the same passion. In 2000 their restaurant has been awarded by the Michelin Guide and Le Bon Accueil got one Michelin star. |
